11 Month old Cammy Poo

Can you believe Cameron is 11 Months old in a few days! This summer has really gone by so fast and September 3rd we will be celebrating his 1st Birthday. Cameron is very close to walking and you can't keep him down. In fact, posing for pictures is somewhat impossible. Since I need to work so fast and I have no one to catch him if he falls I need to be ready to catch him. That's why you will see chopped limbs....but I don't want to miss shots because they are not perfect.

The pics: The 1st one captured Cameron falling over in the basket. The 2ND he decided to trash my backdrop. The 3rd and 4TH I did manage to get a few of him in the basket, until he fell over! The last one I tried a chair and caught this goofy grin. I thought I would share it to show is new top tooth and the other one is making an appearance as well. So now, he has 4 teeth.
Well, you can't blame a mama for trying! At least he was happy right!

Childrens Hospital visit

Cameron and I left the house this morning at 4:45am and arrived at Children's just in time for his appointment. The Genetic Physician was very sweet and she loved Cameron, despite the crying. He was having a tough time. I think the combination of the long drive, teething and a cough was too much for him.

The Doctor did measurements and his left arm still seems to be the most prominent bulk. She does not think he has BWS or any other Syndrome. It's looking like isolated hemi. This still means the 4 month tummy ultrasounds and the 6-8 week afp blood testing. The blood tests will be done until he is around 4 years old and they will stop the ultrasounds at about age 12. So, it's going to be a routine for us. Apparently there is a blur between Hemi and BWS that means the screening needs to be the same even if it appears isolated. Better safe than sorry. If they did find cancer, early detection is key. That's why the afp is so frequent, it's pretty progressive.

Cameron should lead a very normal life and he will get used to the tests. I just need to monitor him a little closer compared to the older boys but that's about it.

Cammy Poo on my new rug!

I found a great rug for a great price and had to take some shots. Cameron is teething and would not sit still. It is so hard to get him to pose for me and I hope that changes soon. I need more happy Cameron pictures. But here they are so you can see the rug. Do you like the brown with blue backdrop? I think this rug will come in handy for newborn shoots.

The Latest in the Davis house...

The latest news in the Davis house:

Collin and Connor have been playing soccer, I should say Collin has been. Cooie will make an attempt every so often. I am happy it is coming to an end, only because it's tons of work for mommy. Next time we will do soccer in the fall. I think the more Collin does it the more he enjoys it.

Uncle Collier is staying with us and the boys are enjoying his company.

Tuesday is Cameron's genetic appointment, it's at 8am in Seattle!! His ultrasound came back with nothing to report. So, my little Cammy is just pluggin along with some extra chunk on his left arm and I couldn't love that arm anymore! He is getting bored of baby food and tried toast the other day. He loved it! I gave him some raviolis but he enjoyed squishing them more and wanted no part in actually putting them in his mouth.

Cooies party plans are set and invites should reach the family soon! For all my family living hours away, we would love to see you! Since it is so far, we certainly don't expect you to make the long trip. We will see you all for the wedding and I am very excited for that.

The pics:

Collin is my sweety and will always give me a smile, and goofy grin or just look my general direction. Most often he will make a silly face and that is what I captured here.

Collier & Collin kicking the ball around the day after Uncle arrived. The boys could not believe how high uncle kicked the ball in the air.

You can call me the Mamarazzi!

Yes, I have given myself the title of "mamarazzi" since I just can't get enough. I don't even know if I will ever have the time or money to actually print the images I have. I back tracked recently and I calculated that in order to do baby books it was going to cost $200 just for prints. For the first 2 years for cooie and 2ND and 3rd year for Collin. Ugh, I am so behind. We love lunch at the park! Today Collin and Cooie seem to be getting over the last bit of the cold they have had.
Now, Cameron seems to be getting it and I still have my cold too!

About the pics: Cameron tried putting the pine cone in his mouth....hence the yucky face. This is the first shot in a long time with all three boys, it's really hard with Cameron being so active. But, I will keep trying! Out of all the pics I took of Collin I ended up posting this one. I always like the moody look and this was right about the time he asked if I could stop taking pictures of him. You can see by the look, I said no!

A special day with Cooie

I have been blessed with wonderful family, who allow me the freedom to do things for myself every once and a while. Today, there was a need for some one on one time with Cooie, who is about to turn 3! We had a wonderful time being together and it's so nice to have them one on one on occasion. We did some shopping and went by the river and enjoyed throwing some rocks. Connor is still so little and sometimes I forget that because he's no longer the baby. I am hoping some mommy time will help with the tantrums he's been having. No one really goes into detail about how hard it is raising children. I do have tons of respect for my mom now that I am one. It's kind of an art form! You don't get an instruction manual, you mold them and still feel you can do better. I know with Connor we are finding those super nanny clips with the worst possible scenario a little too close to home. We are mastering our discipline and tweaking it as necessary. All the worry and craziness is still worth it. I am just so happy they are all healthy and happy.

Cammy is 10 months old! My little Gerber baby.

Cameron turned 10 months old while on his first beach trip. I've posted the gerber baby since everywhere I go someone says he looks like him. I think it's the hair. Cameron can pull himself up and walk around things now. He shakes his head no, waves hi and bye, crawls (off the floor now) and is very curious about his environment. He loves his blankie and after every nap or every morning he grabs it and gives it a big hug. If I grab him without blankie he turns toward the crib and reaches for it. I can't believe how every one of the boys love those little giraffe blankies. They sell them in adult sizes, maybe I should splurge. Does anyone have an extra $175 for it? If I had that the boys would never leave my bed....so never mind, they are bed hogs. Cameron has developed an aversion to riding in the car, no fun for me or anyone else. Cooie even says "baaaaby" be quiet. Coming from him cracks me up. He loves to make his brothers laugh. At dinner, I will give him a bite of food and for kicks he spits it out to see the reaction of Collin and Connor. I or course say "NO" in my firm voice and he laughs at me. I am excited to take the boys to see meow-ma for a couple days. We are going to celebrate her b-day since we could not make it last week. After that we are meeting up with Auntie Pam for a day on the river and that will be tons of fun too! I am super beside myself that my lil bro is coming. We are going to have so much fun just laughing, watching movies and I plan to get some head shots too! Too much excitement in one month.

4th of July in Lincoln City

The Baer/Davis family took a trip to Lincoln city Oregon for the 4th! We had a lot of fun and the boys love the beach. The last time Collin and Cooie were at the beach they were too young to appreciate it. This time, Collin said "I never want to leave this place". Cooie had a tantrum when he found out we had to leave. Usually, the kids are ready to get home! They enjoyed fireworks, smores, sea creatures, sea shells, and they even got to see the aquarium. Cooie got sick the first night and Tony got sick the morning we had to leave. It was TONS of work, but I am happy the boys got to experience the beach this year. I miss being able to drive them to Ocean Shores on a whim. Connor is going thru the terrible 2's and at one point I said "if you don't shape up, I am going to put you in baby boot camp". On the car ride home Connor was having another tantrum and while he was screaming I heard Collin tell him "your going to booty camp, your going to booty camp, your going to booty camp". I could not help but laugh! I did not even think he heard me say that the day before. Cameron had his very first beach experience and he dove right in. He loved it! I am still digging sand out of his fat rolls. He is now pulling himself up and walking around with assistance. It's not too much longer and he will be walking.

A pleasant session with my oldest!

Today's capture was to be Cameron for his 10 month shoot, however he has not been too cooperative lately! I was pleasantly surprised by Collin who was happy to humor me. I love you Collin, you are so special and fun!!!
