My oldest is 7 today!

My oldest boy is 7 today. I am so very proud of him. You would expect me to say that on his Birthday especially! He REALLY is a sweety! A genuine kid who just likes to have fun. I love my buddy so much.

We celebrated last Saturday at our house with some friends and family. Spider man showed up is his mustang. All the kids ran to see him and said it was a costume. The Yakima Spidy drives with his mask off. They all laughed at all his tricks, including the adults. There were some hecklers in the crowd, Cooie and his friends. They wold not join in but had no problem telling spidy he was a "fake". That's my middle child.....keep in it real.

Happy Birthday to the most wonderful 7 year old in my world.....he's the light of my life along with his brothers of course.

We spent our Turkey day playing Old Maid! It's funny how it made us all laugh and just enjoy the moment. The best Thanksgiving I have had in a long time.

Sneaky

I was a sneaky little girl. If in charge of making the lunches for my little bro and I, I happily did it. Not because I was being kind to my mom, but because I ate my little brothers cookies. Once busted, I denied any involvement in such an act.

I decided one morning, it would be a good idea to squirt toothpaste on my grandparents bathroom mirror. When confronted, I again denied it. It baffled my grandparents. Even a week later at dinner my grandfather decided $1 might entice the delinquent. My brother decided $1 was pretty good payoff for admitting to something he did not do. Still, no peep out of me.

I promise, today I have grown out of this. God, has decided to grant me with 3 little sneaky boys. I know that pay backs are a "you know what" but man on man.....why "3" sneaky little boys. They are really giving me a run for my money.

So, here is my sincere apology for all my sneakiness...I AM SOOOOOOO SORRRRRYYYY!

That busy time of year again!

It's fall and with that comes family photos and holiday portraits, this all keeps me busy. I love every minute of it, and love the people I have been meeting.  I love it all! The candy corn, pumpkins, and crisp clean air.

A family tradition....to eat candy at 10:00 am

The parade has become an annual event. The boys look forward to the candy and it's fun to watch the kids smile.
I'm not going to look at the clowns!

This is what happens when you give him sugar!

We love historic FRONT STREET in Yakima, WA

Here he is! My little poser! The one that pretends to "hate" having his picture taken. My 5 year old. The train track next to Front street in Yakima, WA. Tons of cute shops and yummy food. They have done a nice job with the revitalisation of this historic area. It's a great photo opp. as well! I don't mind the graffiti for the pics but it would be nice if Yakima could wipe out the graffiti.
Here are a few of the fine establishments you MUST see.

Cameron's 3rd Birthday

The invite! Cammy loves his Gabba's and it was no question that he would have another Gabba party. His 3rd Birthday photo shoot was with his good pal Brobee, which I used for his invites. Made in Cs5. Some from the photo shoot.

I found these iron on transfers (free at www.gabbafriends.com) there are tons of cool Gabba freebies there. I used them to cut out foam sheets to create 3-D Gabbas. The only down side I could see to my creation is that Cameron wanted to play with them. He loved them so much he went to bed with them. I of course came in while he was sleeping to pry them out of his little hands. When he saw them hanging from the mobile, he yelled at me!

I used cardboard to make a giant Muno. I painted him red and used the left over foam to create the eye and mouth. He was a hit. So much so, I am afraid his arms will need to be amputated.

I made a sign that said "cammy" from the left over foam as well. It was in the colors of the Yo Gabba Gabba logo.

Muno cake pops. You could do these in any character, but it is time consuming.

Left over napkins and plates from last years party made this years party very inexpensive.

Brotherly love!
Happy Birthday to me!

Usually I like to bake a cake, but was stretched for time. I bought these bath squirties for $10 on amazon and used them for cake toppers. Also, his gift from mom and dad. The store misspelled his name so I scrapped it off and wrote it myself...oh well! The Gabba backgrounds were also printed off from www.gabbafriends.com

Brobee bathrobe made by Auntie Christen, very awesome. Now if we could just get it off big bro!

And that's a wrap! Can I just say that I think he's pretty amazing! He did not deserve to have the flu on his b-day! I love my little 3 year old with all my heart. He's awesome!

We are on our way for some much needed family time and to celebrate this wonderful little boys life. Happy Birthday my little Coo frog. You are mommies heart.

Dillinger's

If my Grandpa was still with us, the boys would have been given "names".

He had a "name" for everything and everyone. The general consensus about the "would've been" name is "Dillinger's". That's what he used to call little trouble maker boys.
I get many looks while out with the boys. Looks of empathy, anger, half smiles, most just say in passing...."you have your hands full". I have them pretty well under control in public...with the occasional melt-down. I will miss even these moments when they are gone. Even now, I miss those late nights feeding them every two hours.
