Growin like a weed!

Collin has been growing like a weed! He is starting Kindergarten next year. I wish I could hold this off a little. I am excited to see him learn and grow.
Yesterday, he said that Cameron's super powers were to shoot syrup out of his hands. You pour it on his head and it comes out of his hands. He also asked me if Cameron came out of my belly button. I said yes, since we were eating dinner and thought I should hold off on the truth at that moment. He is a funny child. Very funny and very set in his ways. He likes down time, but really loves to play. We went to the park today and he was frozen as he watched a group of older boys play. They must have been 8-10 years old and playing with light sabers. When we got home he begged me to give his back to him.

It's summer & we are being lazy!

Since school is out I am finding it hard to get going. I have been busy with photo editing as I have had 4 sessions this past weekend. Time to make some fun summer plans for the boys! Hope you are having a wonderful Summer so far!

I was granted the wish that someday I would have boys!

I don't understand it, but when I wished for boys.........I got them! I am super lucky to have these little men.
Tonight, the stars aligned and the boys were so incredible. They made me laugh, they loved one another and filled my heart. These are the moments that I thrive on. Collin called me into the living room to see him cuddling with Cameron. Connor joined in too!

The pool is OPEN!

The pool is open at Auntie and Uncles house. We could not believe Cameron's reaction to the pool this year. When he saw it I had to use all my strength to hold him back. He would have jumped in if I would have let him....no joke! Auntie took him in and he was ALL SMILES! I will never forget this day. Collin, after months of begging to go swimming at the pool finally had his wish. He stayed in the entire time. Cooie was happy to stay out and squirt everyone with the pool toys. What a great start to the summer.

Today the glass is 1/2 empty....

I remember being little with the thought that I would never be an adult. It seemed so far away. Now, I look at the future and I know it's fast approaching and I can't do anything to stop it.

Why does no one prepare little girls for being a mommy. I mean, the usual nurturing you inherently get from your mother is there. But what about the hard times of parenting. We go to school to learn trades like cosmetology and accounting. Maybe, if there was a class I would know how to deal with my screaming, non sharing 3 sons. This sibling rivalry stuff has really rocked my world. And the parenting classes I've been to are taught by parents who think they are the authority, just because they can pop out 14 kids!

Baby boot camp, here we come! This summer it's summer school and responsibility in the Davis house. If this doesn't work, well.....Nanny 911 is getting a call! Don't get me wrong, the boys are for the most part good boys. Just don't ask them to share and we should be fine!

On the flip side, I am extremely grateful for these 3 blessings!

So nice outside!

Cammy and his first Doggie, Kitty! The official "cheese" face

Today I took Collin out for ice cream at Cold stone. I would have shared pictures of the event but I was too busy eating my oatmeal cookie batter cone. It was pretty hot today and after eating the ice cream on the patio of the ice cream shop, Collin pats his belly and says "I need to go home and take a nap". Sometimes he acts like an old man. The short walk to the car did him in and he asked me if he could take his shirt off!
More photos of Cameron, I know! He seems to be so photographed compared to Collin and Cooie, but he's the only one that wants to be with me. The other boys are too cool for mom these days.

He has my heart.

Cameron has my heart. He (along with all my children) have been handed to me to love and take care of. I could not be happier with who they are. I would NOT be OK if anything happened to any of them.
Cameron having Hemihypertrophy is not the worst possible news I could have received as a mother. He will live a great life. So, I am grateful for what we have.
We went to his routine check-up last week and I was told his Testicles have not dropped. He will need to see a specialist and will call me to set the appointment up. My heart sank! We are his everything and he is ours! This news is not life threatening, but I am still horrified. When will the bad news stop???
Here is a little info I pulled up on a google search for those interested in knowing the possibilities to come. http://www.urology.wustl.edu/PatientCare/UndescendedTesticle.asp
In the meantime he is just the most adorable, sweet, loving, funny, cute & smart baby in the world! OK, in my world!!!! I can say that because he's all mine. Undescended testicles and all!

When the tables are turned and my boys must care for me:

When the tables are turned and my 3 sons must take care of me, this is what I plan on doing:

If I still have my wits about me I vow to:

Scream at the top of my lungs at 5:30 am until someone comes and gets me. When the door opens I will stop screaming and say "Hello"!

Pee all over the toilet seat, floor and just for fun the bathroom rug.

Refuse to eat my home cooked meal, but 5 minutes later I will say " I want something to eat".

Walk into the bathroom and throw all the clean folded towels on the floor, and step on them.

Take dog food and throw into dog water.

Wear all their shoes, leave them all over the house and stuff them full of army men.

Now, how can I get them to agree on keeping me out of a nursing home?

No, I love it all! Just had to vent and now I feel so much better! Really, what an awesome job I have. I don't know what I would do with out my little men.

Backyard + Sunshine = Happy Kids

I am happy with our backyard! When the weather is nice the boys just love going outside. They really did not seem to mind playing outside when it was snowing! I am just happy to have a fenced in yard that's big enough for them to ride the cars and run in the sprinklers. While the boys were running around in the sprinklers, Cammy and I had a little one on one time. He let me take some pics of him while he watched Baby Einstein. He has not requested Gabba this past week, and I'm not complaining. I love the show, just don't want him to grow up thinking Gabba land is real.

Cool dudes!

Thank you all for the b-day wishes!

I had a wonderful b-day thanks to all my friends and family! Tony and had a date night and went to dinner and shopping. I had been looking for a hat and found one last night. When Collin saw it he said it was not for mommies it was a daddy hat. So both boys posed for me in my new daddy hat. Have a great weekend!

Sweety Meeeeww cat

I can't believe he's going to be "4" in about 3 months! Cooie has such a wonderful laugh. I asked him to sit while I took some pics and he was such a pal. This was my fave shot of the day, not technically perfect, but he's not a paying customer so it's OK.

Captain Hook's spring tea was today.

Meet Captain Hook (the one in the green)This was the line up of performers. This was the beginning and it looked so promising.Ahhhhhhhhhh, this is much better.

I do like playing jokes, just like my older brother. This was a conspiring moment where daddy told Cooie to tickle me with the flowers.

It was his first singing event! It was the most anticipated event in awhile. All was well with the world.......until.........another kid touched him. The growling and hissing started. While other children were bellowing "I'm a little teapot" Cooie was grunting. Good thing daddy was there to swoop in and grab the little hissing Coo frog. Afterwards, he enjoyed a cookie and shared with us the vase he made for us.
