I love his smile!

I will often take so many pictures that some get overlooked! Since it's so cold and I can't go outside and shoot my camera I thought I would catch up on some older pics. I fell in love with Collin's smile in this one.

My mom (hi mom) will often call me to tell me the goings on in the world. She remembers the girl shopping while the OJ chase was going on. She could not believe I knew nothing about it! I am still that way today, and rarely catch the news. However, since having kids I admit to being a tad bit more involved. The problem I have and I am sure this is the general consensus is that the world can be a sad place. So, while my ignorance keeps me happy it does not stop all the bad that exists in the world. So she calls me when there is something too scary to ignore. I don't just take the information in, instead I dwell on it and worry beyond what is normal. This morning she calls to tell me about MRSA and how it's on the rise.

What the heck, one more thing to worry about! Collin is particularly susceptible to picking up illness, for some unknown reason! Do I need to home school my children? Or am I just being paranoid.

To prevent this highly contagious infection, they say "hygiene" is important. Don't share towels, wash your hands and keep open wounds clean and covered.

Just thought I would share the information, not to freak anyone out, but there have been 5 cases of this in Washington! So, knowledge is power...thanks mom! I think!

Deja Vu

I have been having Deja Vu lately! Twice in one week, does anyone know what that means?

Collin has croup again and I feel so bad for him! He is so sad, I can just see it in his eyes. I told him the doctor wants him to eat more healthy foods so his recovery is fast. It's been a great little motivator for him to eat the foods "I want him to eat" vs. what "he wants to eat." The picture of him was today and even though he's sick he still wants to be in on the action. So, he so kindly posed for me so I could practice with my studio lights. Which, by the way is like learning to walk! It's a HUGE challenge! I knew it would be, but I guess I'm always up for a good challenge. So, while not technically perfect it shows my sicko boy and some of Cooie and Cammy!

I have been cutting the boys hair for the past year now and the other day I butchered Cooies hair. I ended up taking him into the salon and to my surprise he did very well. So, this is Cooie with short hair. Makes him look so much older!

Cammy was not in the studio lights, he decided he would have NO part in that! Instead he wanted to give mommy a good scare and try to knock one over. All I can say is, "watch out world, here comes Cameron Cruz".

No one loves them more than mommy!

Ok, and Grandmas too! Having these 3 little boys is a very amazing gift. They are all so wonderful and challenging. We have been having a lot of fun together. I can't wait for summer fun and travel with the boys!

Finally got to try out my new studio lighting

As a Christmas present I received some awesome studio lights. I have not really had the opportunity to play around with them. I finally set one of the two up, just to get the feel for it. Wow, I have a lot to learn about these lights. Pretty fun and I need tons of practice. But, here's my Cammy in my first attempt. I fell in love with this bucket and blankie. I only wished he was a newborn again so I could wrap him up and put him in it.

This is all the fluffy goodness you will ever need!

Why does the day seem to drag on

Lately it seems the days are getting longer and we are running out of activities. I have been trying my hardest to keep the boys busy because when they are not busy they are doing naughty things. Today Collin was ecstatic to wear his pj's to school. It was a pajama party and bring a stuffed friend day. He got suited up in his Iron man pj's and robe and insisted on wearing his slippers. Elmo even dressed for the occasion. After school we made paper fish and hung them in the window. They got a kick out of it because the heater vent was below and the tails went flying! Now it's Finding Nemo and popcorn time so mommy can tend to her blog obsession. Yes, mommy needs some time and this is how I spend my free time.

Goldie Locks

I thought Cameron's eyes were going to be blue, but every other picture it seems they are green. Not to mention, look at that hair. He is so "golden" so unexpected for Tony and my child. Cameron is talking quite a bit now and getting some more teeth.
Cameron's Vocabulary today:
Apple
Nite nite
Herrrroooowwww (hello)
Bye bye
Mama, dada of course
kitty
Polly
Nana
Toast
Einstein (for baby Einstein)
Gabba (fo Yo Gabba, Gabba)
No
All done
I am sure I am missing a few. He goes in for his next ultrasound next week and I am so confident he does not need these darn things, I almost wish I could just cancel. But, I can't do that! I will need to get used to this because I will being doing it for the next 12 years.

This time last year

It was about this time last year all the strange medical issues came about with Collin and Cameron. I just had to reflect because that was the worst couple months I have ever had. A large part of me knew everything would be OK, but the rest was just enough to make ya crazy. Collin in the end has the severe allergy to penecillin and
has had no issues since. I am very happy to have my little Collin healthy and happy. Everyone always says you have nothing without your health. I think 2009 is going to be "our" year!

Winter Goodness

The boys don't seem to mind the snow! I am a little (OK, a lot) tired of it. I can't drive outside of Yakima, and as you know Yakima is lacking in "fun" for the boys. I think I may just take a chance and drive over the pass and thru to woods to Grandma's house. Tony and the boys built Frosty the Snowman.

These are the best mommy moments

These are the moments of true love. When I don't have to ask and they just do it because they want to. I love these photos because I did not ask them to, they just did it!!!!

Yes, the party dress is stayin in the closet tonight!

CHEERS!
Ahhhhh, this stuff it great!

Did ya think we would leave this lil guy out? No way!!

Sometimes, I feel like this game piece.

Gabba, Gabba! (That's Happy new year in Cammy language). This is also my flickr group photo a week challenge photo, but had to share with y'all who are too busy to join my exciting group....hmm hmmm

This New years eve was a very special one for me. It's the first year the boys could understand what the evening was all about. We made it special with cookies, sparkling cider and a good game of chutes and ladders. It was great! Best of all, I spent the evening safe with my cozy pj's and kiddos. Not sure if I will make it to midnight, but I will sure try.

The big guy in the red suit

Cammy and his pride and joy (brobee chair) Cammy and his new spidy jammies *big boy* Whhaaaaa
Don't forget your goggles

Cooie enjoying a cruise around the house in Cammy's new wheels

Collin telling Grammy, "look for presnts with a C O L L I & N on it.

Cooie and his bench

After a special phone call from Santa himself, the boys put the cookies they decorated by the fireplace with a glass of milk. They were very excited to see if Santa would eat all the cookies and drink all the milk. Christmas eve day was a crazy one, the boys were so ornery! Tony and I used this line all day......."Santa is watching you and he only brings toys to good little boys, so I would stop (hitting/kicking/screaming/crying/whining etc.) if I was you!"

The big guy in the red suit has done it again. The Davis house could pass for Toys-R-us, complete with tool bench, tools, welding tools, goggles, suspenders, hard hats, ride on car, bike, helicopter, books, spider man helicopter, birds you feed with bottles, brobee chair, dancing brobee, brobee clothes, brobee figures and backpack, jeans, shirts, underwear, light saber, dinosaur, cassette recorder, ben 10 action figures, frog aquarium, chutes and ladders, light brite, leapster and game, and more. Thank you Santa (wink, wink) for making the boys Christmas so special. They loved every minute of it.

Cooie loved all his toys, however we had to remind him he had more to open and pry him away from his new black and Decker toy bench. He loves this thing. He will bite your head off if you don't put things away to his liking.

Cameron has not put down the little yo gabba gabba action figures daddy bought. He took 2 of them to bed last night (bad idea). He was screaming and crying and it was not his normal cry. When I walked in he had dropped one and he was in tears saying "Gabba, gabba". So, he did not fall asleep until around 9pm last night. He also loves his Gabba chair and the car that you see Cooie in the picture. They are sharing quite nicely. I remind Cooie that Cammy is letting you ride his car, you need to let him play with your workbench.

Collin goes from one thing to the next. He has been riding his Bike in the house, crashing into everything. Adding some nice dings in my table. Collin has grown up so much it's freaking me out. Very big boy now!

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Now, it's time to start shopping for next year.

My Cammy is almost 16 months old, wowzers!

I have avoided pics with Cammy against the back drops lately because he just destroys them! Today I gave it another shot, and would you believe when I asked him to sit down....he DID! It did not last very long, but I took the shots and was so proud of my boy.

It's going to be a white Christmas!

We are housebound and getting a little stir crazy. The boys are excited that Christmas is in a few days. We are done with shopping and now it's time to enjoy it! It's been a busy month for all of us. Collin is on winter break so it's nice to have him home all day. Cooie is loving all the Christmas movies we have been watching and Cammy had a chance to play in the snow today. It didn't last long, but he gave me some sweet smiles.
