Captain Hook's spring tea was today.

Meet Captain Hook (the one in the green)This was the line up of performers. This was the beginning and it looked so promising.Ahhhhhhhhhh, this is much better.

I do like playing jokes, just like my older brother. This was a conspiring moment where daddy told Cooie to tickle me with the flowers.

It was his first singing event! It was the most anticipated event in awhile. All was well with the world.......until.........another kid touched him. The growling and hissing started. While other children were bellowing "I'm a little teapot" Cooie was grunting. Good thing daddy was there to swoop in and grab the little hissing Coo frog. Afterwards, he enjoyed a cookie and shared with us the vase he made for us.

Always in your face

Why is she always in my face with that thing?
I'm not going to smile.........I mean it!

I'm not........gonna..........HA HA!
When the camera comes out I usually get one "cheese" from Cameron.

On any given day, at least ONE kid has a war wound. This one is from a book being thrown down from the top bunk, where a little coo frog sleeps!

Back at our favorite picnic spot for some chocolate milk.

This is so worth your time........

I just had to share this blog in my blog post. It's that funny! At least it was to me. So, when you have the time for a good laugh go here http://listoftheday.blogspot.com/2007/09/great-olan-mills-photos.html but please don't skim you must read the captions.

Livin the life........baby!

This is Auntie Megan. She loves the boys. The boys love her. Collin is testing us lately. Man is he testing us. Aside from the curve ball he has thrown us with his defiant behavior, he's quite the social butterfly. Our neighbor (I have not even had a conversation with him yet) knows Collin very well. Easter morning he went over to the fence and started a conversation about Easter and what he got in his basket. He even asked the neighbor what he got from the Easter bunny. By the way, the neighbor got breakfast for Easter. Cooie, Cooie, Cooie! What a change he has made in the last 2 months. He is more confident and communicates a lot easier now. He loves school. I am so proud of my little man. Now, if I could just get him to stop peeing in the backyard. I don't tell them to go outside, infact I tell them the opposite. What is it about little boys and urinating on things. Collin is guilty of this too, I could not let Cooie take all the blame. Tony said if he goes to the bathroom outside one more time he will make him wear a diaper. Good luck with getting that on him Tony!
Cameron! Wow! This little guy loves taking the older brothers prized possessions and taunting them. First he takes it. He shows them he took it. Once he has gotten the attention of the victim he runs as fast as he can. He laughs at the pain he has caused. That's where I come in to save whatever he as stolen. This photo was Collin's Easter bunny and man did he enjoy taunting him with that. Cameron can say "Awesome" now among other cool words. He can tell you what the Gabba characters are going to say before they say it.

What a productive day I've had

Today we finally trimmed the 20x20 prints I've had down to 19 3/4 x 19 3/4 since those are the frames I had. We put them on the wall, they are actually the photos in my blog header that I just had to blow up. I made a lasagna, carrot cake and hash brown casserole for tomorrows get together. The Easter baskets and Easter eggs are done for the egg hunt. We even went the Leavenworth with all the boys yesterday to meet some friends. I feel very accomplished and happy to have everything done on my wish list.
Have a Hoppy Easter!

It's the Cammy show and you are invited!

I know he could use a trim, but waaaaaaa I don't want to loose my baby! Don't bother buying Cammy any gifts, nothing will ever compare.
Yes, that's his tongue! I have no good explanation for this one.

I know, I know! I just can't part with the wispy locks! By the end of the day he looks like a mug shot!

My sweet little man! The last little man! The one that keeps me on my toes and makes us all laugh. He has the humor of Collin and the wits of his Cooie.

Spring is a beautiful thing!

This is from the backyard! The bees were so busy working they didn't mind having a picture or two taken. This might be my Week #15 Textures photo challenge, not sure yet because I want to get out and explore some more. I call this one soft and fuzzzzzzzzzy!

Before you go outside to play can I take a few pictures of you?

Sure mommy, here are some faces for you to choose from.

Oh Mr. Sun

It's warming up and we can start having some outside fun again. Cameron ran around the park yesterday like a mad man. It's so cute to see him so happy exploring his world.

Cool shades

The boys and I went to the mall today and walked away with some cool shades. They came in quite the assortment of colors and as you can see Collin is sporting the blue and Cooie the green. This was start of our shopping trip and they almost never came off while in the mall. They even tried wearing them while at play! They stopped lots of traffic and got lots of smiles. It's 8pm and they are still wearing them.

What's a happening hot stuff!

Name that movie!

We had a great visit with our friends this week. The weather was bad so we found fun at the bookstore and bowling alley. Collin and Caleb have been friends now for a couple years. The real fun is having a friend for ME! Everyone wins! Janelle and I (Emily too) managed to get out for some girl shopping and a chai tea. It was a blast!

Cameron had his 4 month ultrasound and am waiting to hear that everything looks good. I am certain we will get great results...we always do.

Here are some shots of the visit with our friends and some recents ones of the boys.

If I could take out my eyes and replace them with camera eyes...I would!

I frame people and things even without my camera. I have talked to other "photogs" and they do it too! It's somewhat annoying living my days constantly framing the shot with or without the camera. I do enjoy it and always have so I suppose it's a positive thing. I can't wait til the boys
are adults. I wonder if they will remember how photographed they were, or if it will turn them against the camera!

Thank you for the FLU.....what a waste of week!

WARNING: Don't read while eating or drinking your coffee.

4 out of the 5 of us Davis' were not so blessed with the Flu last week. I'm not sure if anyone is interested in the details, but here they are. It all started with Cameron! It was a typical morning, I woke to Cameron crying. When the door was opened let's just say I wanted to run. Tony and I worked as a clean-up team. Got the job done and he seemed fine. The next am, same thing! Part of me thought he just ate something bad and dismissed it. The other part of me was worried that he had the flu but no fever etc. I had plans to go to Olympia that Saturday morning and since he was happy, energetic and we were all looking forward to seeing my family off we went. Tony stayed behind the catch up on housework (movies & video games was the real intention). We met up with the fam and all was great with the world. I started to feel nauseous around 7pm when a phone call from Tony (that he was sick as a dog) sent me into a frenzy. I packed up all the kids at 9pm and decided I would head home. If I was getting sick I was going to do it at home.

I made it about 15 min into the drive and had to pull over. Little Collin pipes up and says "mom, I think you need a doctor".

Get back on the road and get to the pass.....it's covered in SNOW! All wheel drive required, so I changed gears and go with the flow of traffic doing 25 mph. At that moment Cooie starts to toss his cookies all over! I looked at the blackest most evil of sky and asked "why GOD". Pull over on the PASS with my flip flops on and no winter coat & blizzard type snowflakes hitting me to clean up. All I had was Aloe Vera smelling baby wipes. I must say, the most awful discovery was a scented baby wipe! I will be banning them after the 500 from Costco are gone! I thought this to myself once or twice cleaning up doo doo, but it was confirmed that no scent in the world should try and match that of poop or otherwise. Same goes for scented sprays in the bathroom, but that's for another post!

Get back into the car and go about half mile to come to a stop for AVALANCHE CONTROL! I looked up at the UGLY black sky and asked again "why GOD" this time with tears a flowin!

All this to finally get home at 2am and clean up my poor little trooper who was sooo sick, being soooo sick myself to spend the next 4-5 days doing laundry after laundry after laundry!
Collin is the only one to escape this! I hope we are in the clear. I also hope you all don't get this!
On a happier note, we are all better and enjoying the nice weather and happy that it's SPRING!

Cammy has a knack for Gabba stacking ( how do you like the tummy)

Cooie on his scooter and loving it!

Cammy at the park and loving it!

Cooie happy to be Flu Free!

Collin riding his bike and loving it!

A little father son moment of love! Hey Cammy that's our thing!

THE END!

Cameron is 18 months old

Cameron is 18 months old this month. It makes me wonder why time is going by at a faster rate with him. I feel like it's going super fast. I won't have more kids but what will I do when I don't have a little guy like this to photograph. I am addicted to my camera and close ups of Cameron. Ever since he was born. Maybe, it's because it is the last baby in the house that makes it seem so valuable. Here is YET ANOTHER close up shot of Cameron......I promise to start photographing and posting something else.
