A great day with a GREAT friend!

Today was a FANTABULOUS day! I had a little adventure with a great new friend. Was able to see some new things in the town I live in. It was SOOO nice to be out and see wonderful things....most of them I really want but certainly don't need! It's fun to look!Ilove this outfit!

Thomas came to Yakima

We took the boys to see Thomas last Friday. They are usually in bed by 7:30-8pm every night to they were struggling at about 8pm. We left a little early, but the show was adorable! These were taken on my camera phone.

What the heck!

So, here's the deal! I'm turning 33 in a couple months and this photo really shows my age. I did not really realize I was going to be..........33!!!! What the HECK is going on. I'm not supposed to get older. I also thought it was funny how my recent captures look the same. Cooie and myself and Collin and Cammy. The boys have colds so we stayed in this weekend. The boys still have tons of energy so this weekend required creativity I just did not have. The TV was my best friend and the boys never complain about that.

My favorite "Baby" moments

I love when they wake up from a nap. They are so fresh and new. Sometimes Cammy wakes up grumpy but snaps out of it with a good "tooootie" (cookie) pictured above. Have a fantabulous weekend ya'll!!!!

Cooie is the animal lover of the bunch! He always has been. So, I thought I would share share some Cooie and Kitty moments. A boy and his dog, it's just so sweet.

Today the eyes are blue!

It looks like Cammy's eyes are blue!

This is COOL!

Hey, Famdamily! If you have a photo you would like to see as a canvas, send it to me! I am loving this new canvas action I found & it's cool to be able to see what it would look like. I purchased a small canvas a year ago and really like it. They are expensive, but worth it! I am buying some bigger canvases soon, and will post them when I know what ones I am doing!

I fell in love today!

The boys and I had a very special Valentines day outing. We made a new friend while we were out. I almost gave myself a v-day present. She was so cute peeking out under the kiddy toys. She wanted some lovin so bad, but was too shy to get some. I wish I would have had a cat carrier, but why on earth would I travel with one of those!

Just a pic. of my big school boy!

Cooie has his 2ND day of preschool tomorrow and he's very excited. He has valentine goody bags for all his new friends. Pretty funny how putting them in school makes them seem so much older. Just looking at this picture does not even look like the Cooie from yesterday.

Photography Playdate

Today was a busy day for the boys. Not only did Cooie start preschool today, but we had a play date as well! I would post pics of Coo on his first day of school but I don't have any because of a major protest! I picked my battles today and the camera lost. We did have fun meeting some new friends, Jen and her little boy from my photography group. It's nice to meet more moms with similar interests. She was kind enough to have myself, Collin, Connor, Cameron, Jamie, Dominik & Gabriel over for some great food and play. The pictures are from her property, the boys just went nuts with all the barrels and huge open areas. Thanks for having us over and I wish I could have helped clean up the mess of toys we left behind!!!

The faces of Cammy

No more fast food!

A couple years ago I bought a salad from McDonald's. About half way into eating it I noticed I had a friend. He was green, huge and very alive. In fact, I think he looked at me and winked. I almost threw the thing out of my hand I was so disgusted. I went back to the drive thru and they so kindly offered me another salad. Oh, and very quickly took the salad from me. I never took a picture to document, not that I would have done anything, but I was disturbed. Now, I know I'm not the only one with gross food stories. After hearing the recent news about chemicals in Iced tea and nuts and bolts in cherry pies at McDonald's I just thought I would pass this on. I am SOOOO guilty of getting the boys happy meals, because what kid doesn't like a good happy meal. I will be traveling this weekend and really don't want to go there. So, I will be bringing a cooler with all the good stuff from home.

I'd like a price quote for a new windshield...

Awhile ago, I was having a conversation over the phone with my brother who lives in California. Hi, Uncle Collier! We were talking and the kids started up screaming in the background, (a usual occurrence). He said "is someone being scalped over there?" as the screams echoed thru the phone. I have never laughed so hard in my life, because it's exactly what it sounded like. Like, someone was being tortured.

Yesterday, I made a phone call to a windshield company. Ted was so kind to take my call and give me a price quote. My wonderful and very intuitive "3 sons" always know when I'm on the phone and inevitably gather right at my feet. As they are screaming and doing the usual "scalping" as we now call it. The poor guy, Ted says in a tremor.........."w h a t, was that?" I explained to the confused guy who obviously does not have little kids, that those screams were from my 3 sons (ages 5 and under). I explained this all while fighting back tears of laughter. All I could think about was the sounds he heard from his end and what my brother said it sounded like to him!

If you all wonder why I blog, it's because I can't call you!

Honk Honk Beep Beep Vroom Vroom

Honk! Honk! He's getting ready for his big modeling debut with this pose!

Today is Super bowl Sunday! Not that you would know this by looking into our windows. Nope, about the only thing we do for the event is, eat! We tried to invite some family over for the spirit of football, but I think they thought we were joking! It reminds me of the boy who cried wolf. We've professed our distaste for "sports on TV" so much that now even if we really wanted to watch it, no one would believe us!

The Davis boys are on the loose

Hey! Betcha guys can't do this! Take....us....to....your....leader!
A rose by any other name.....

Let me get that for you lil bro!

We did it, we went out into the world and left our mark on the local park! No, we did not contaminate the park and cause a big outbreak of Croup. Apparently, after 3 days you are fine to join the human race again. Even so, for good measure we gave it extra time. As you can see by the images above, they are now officially COO COO! The boys came home and resumed the normal positions as if they never even left. I know the fresh air did them so good anyways.

Goof Balls

Welcome to Crazy Town, where it's ok to wear your pants on your head! The kids have been cooped up for over a week now. Collin missed an entire week of school and now he has turned into a couch potato. Cameron and I had a 2:00 am ER visit because his croup was getting worse. Cooie has croup but aside from one really nasty night, he's in denial about even having it. Today is a new day, and despite feeling like crawling under a rock, I am going to rise above it and take the boys out for a drive! If you see a bright yellow mini-van I would steer clear because it's now the "croup mobile" or "Croupty"!!

Collin really thinks I have super powers

The scene:

Collin & Connor eating lunch at the table, playing and laughing when they should be eating the lunches I prepared for them.

Me: Walking by the table notice little whispers from Collin into Cooies ear. I turn around and give that look like "you can't pull one over on me".

Collin: Mom, how do you always hear when we whisper?

Me: Because I am "Super Mommy"!

Collin: Can you fly too?

I think he REALLY believes I am Super mommy! And not in the "wow, mom you're "super" kinda way" but the Mom can shoot fire from her eyes and ice from her fingers kinda way!

So, Cooie now has the nasty bug and all 3 kids are sick. I wish I had some super powers for real!

Breakfast with Cameron and Foofa

Cameron is sick with Croup now. It's so painful to hear that nasty cough. 2 down and 1 to go, because you know we are not out of the woods just yet. He had a hard time choking down his toast, but his breakfast pal Foofa made it all better.

I love his smile!

I will often take so many pictures that some get overlooked! Since it's so cold and I can't go outside and shoot my camera I thought I would catch up on some older pics. I fell in love with Collin's smile in this one.

My mom (hi mom) will often call me to tell me the goings on in the world. She remembers the girl shopping while the OJ chase was going on. She could not believe I knew nothing about it! I am still that way today, and rarely catch the news. However, since having kids I admit to being a tad bit more involved. The problem I have and I am sure this is the general consensus is that the world can be a sad place. So, while my ignorance keeps me happy it does not stop all the bad that exists in the world. So she calls me when there is something too scary to ignore. I don't just take the information in, instead I dwell on it and worry beyond what is normal. This morning she calls to tell me about MRSA and how it's on the rise.

What the heck, one more thing to worry about! Collin is particularly susceptible to picking up illness, for some unknown reason! Do I need to home school my children? Or am I just being paranoid.

To prevent this highly contagious infection, they say "hygiene" is important. Don't share towels, wash your hands and keep open wounds clean and covered.

Just thought I would share the information, not to freak anyone out, but there have been 5 cases of this in Washington! So, knowledge is power...thanks mom! I think!
